All four codes pull from the same PTO balance, so it’s just a matter of choosing the one that best fits your situation.
- PTO: Planned vacation or time out of the office for Vacation; Personal obligations – visiting family, taking the dog to the vet, car or home maintenance, running errands, just want a day off; etc.
- PTO - PSLP (Personal Paid Sick Leave): You call out sick because you have the flu, a fever, or a physical injury; You take time off to attend your annual physical; You go to a therapy session
- PTO - PSLF (Family Paid Sick Leave): You miss work to care for a sick child or parent
- PTO – PSLO (Other Paid Sick Leave): Time off needed when the employee is a victim of domestic violence, sexual assault, or stalking.
