Hiring Manager will receive an email from the Talent Acquisition team as soon as the new hire has been cleared. That message should include a confirmed start date.
As the hiring manager, reach out to your candidate. During your conversation, please cover the following key points: i. Welcome Message: Express excitement about their start. ii. Logistics: Share first-day details, location, arrival time, who to ask for. iii. Onboarding Schedule: Outline the first week’s activities. iv. Open Communication: Encourage questions and concerns.
The HR team will handle requesting IT equipment and company email address. The hiring manager will be included in the request to IT. If any additional equipment or access is needed, please inform the HR team.
The HR team will launch UKG’s Onboarding Package to the new hire, which will help new employees get familiar with Pavion while obtaining required government and procedural paperwork.
The mandatory New Hire HR Orientation is hosted every Monday: a. 9:30 AM — for Eastern and Central Time employees. b. 8:00 AM — for Mountain and Pacific Time employees.
The Benefits Orientation is located in Pavion’s Learning & Development platform, Percipio. All benefits resources can be found on Employee Connect. The Benefits Team hosts two calls/week to answer any benefit questions: a. Mondays – 4:30 PM EST - 5:00 PM EST b. Fridays – 10:00 AM EST – 10:30 AM EST
The HR team will send an Orientation Follow-Up with slides discussed and a New Hire To-do list.
Please make sure to schedule or block time to meet with your new hire after Orientation ends! a. Make sure your new hire knows where to assign their time to (if punching in/out, or job costing).
