How are holidays paid?

Holiday pay will be calculated based on the employee’s base rate of pay (as of the date of the holiday) times the number of hours they would otherwise have worked on that day, with a maximum of 8 hours per holiday. Holiday will not count as hours worked in the calculation of overtime.
